Born into a family with a passion for cycling, Keagan’s love for the sport where he is able to push his mind and body to the best of it’s capabilities, can be described as hereditary. 

Inspired by the skill and determination of Nino Schurter’s race craft, Keagan too has his long-term goals set on the local and global XC stage. 

Keagan makes the most of his home-ground in Stellenbosch, where his favourite route includes a long ride of all the surrounding trails, finishing in Jonkershoek.  With his focus on XC, the high intensity 4-6min interval set of 40:20 sprints is his go-to session, fueled by CarboFuel, at least one Citrus Classic Energy Gel and electronic or rap music playing in his earphones.

“It’s a great honour being a Cadence Nutrition ambassador, knowing that I’m being fueled by the same products that have won World Championships and World Cup podiums”, says Keagan.
