Darrel’s journey to cycling was a logical step following his long and accomplished career in Motocross and Super Moto.  This transition for him was not only a physical one, but one that also sees Darrel training and coaching cyclists.  Watching people reach their goals and knowing his part in this is what motivates him to keep going and giving more.

Prepared with CarboFuel Red Berry and a Citrus Classic Energy Gel, Darrel enjoys a 30 minute: 3 x 10 minute repeat session most, channeling his inner Rocky Balboa with “Eye of the Tiger”.  It’s these efforts that improve his climbing superpowers. He saves the Marathon and Salted Caramel CarboFuel Bar for his longer weekend rides, mostly on a Cradle loop.

Given his goal of positively impacting people on and off the bike, it’s important for him to be trusted as a Cadence Nutrition ambassador.  This is a brand that he in turn has the utmost trust in, not only for himself, but for his clients and team as well.
